Willy Broadleaf’s will also host a Christmas Day Buffet with favorites including warm apple cider punch with cinnamon sticks; cinnamon eggnog with vanilla bean ice cream; pumpkin and winter squash bisque with nutmeg cream; whole stuffed cider baked tom turkey station with giblet and sausage stuffing; maple and peppercorn-crusted smoked ham with a Dijon reduction; plus fajita and dessert stations from 5 to 10 p.m. Priced at just $34 per person for adults and $12 per person for children ages 5 to 12, this is a holiday feast that guests will not want to miss.

Saving the best for last, Grand Lucayan, Bahamas will ring in 2014 with an unforgettable New Year’s Eve bash, complete with a live performance by The Temptations, featuring Dennis Edwards. The celebration will start off with a delectable New Year’s Eve Buffet at Willy Broadleaf’s, for just $48 per person. Dancing will follow at 10:30 p.m. in the resort’s majestic Grand Ballroom, where the legendary moves and sounds of The Temptations, featuring Dennis Edwards, will ramp up the party atmosphere. Midnight will bring a Champagne toast. Tickets for The Temptations start at $75.

In addition, Churchill’s, Grand Lucayan’s fine dining eatery with Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, will present its New Year’s Eve Gala Menu by Michelin Star Chef Gianfranco Chiarini. Starting off the meal with a complimentary glass of Champagne served on arrival, the prix-fixed menu includes saltimbocca from salmon and prosciutto di Parma over a nest of artichoke hearts and saffron sauce perfumed with balsamic vinegar and honey reduction; saffron dough ravioli filled with smoked pumpkin and asparagus over zucchini and scampi sautéed in an orange butter sauce; pan seared Chilean sea bass over a rosemary and butter-sautéed porcini mushroom nest with white truffle cream sauce; and guinea fowl timbale filled with organic bacon, gorgonzola and wild mushrooms over a delicate smoked provolone and white truffle cream sauce. For dessert, Chef Chiarini will prepare asparagus ice cream served over brunoise from cherries and tossed with a delicate orange and chamomile sauce.
