When a 3.2-million-square-foot brewery campus and an integrated citrus processing plant go up for auction in the same season, it tells you something about where food and beverage manufacturing capacity is headed — and where savvy operators can buy their next production line for a fraction of new-build cost.
AssetBuilt, a global industrial asset advisory and disposition firm, has announced two major food and beverage manufacturing engagements that expand its growing portfolio of asset recovery and disposition projects. The assignments cover the disposition of surplus assets from Cutrale's citrus processing and beverage manufacturing facility in Leesburg, Florida, and the former Anheuser-Busch manufacturing campus in Newark, New Jersey.
Together, the projects represent two of North America's most significant food and beverage manufacturing asset opportunities — featuring equipment used in citrus processing, beverage production, bottling, packaging, utilities, warehousing, and large-scale industrial operations.

"These projects represent exactly the type of complex manufacturing engagement AssetBuilt was built to execute," said Tara Shaikh, Founder and CEO of AssetBuilt. "Our goal is to maximize value for our clients while extending the productive life of high-quality industrial assets."
Cutrale – Leesburg, Florida
AssetBuilt will oversee the sale of surplus assets from Cutrale's integrated citrus processing and beverage production facility. The equipment list reads like a turnkey beverage plant:
Fruit handling systems
Citrus extraction and juice concentration equipment
Beverage blending and pasteurization systems
High-speed Fogg bottling lines
SACMI labeling equipment
Douglas Axiom case packers
Automated palletizing
Stainless steel processing equipment, utility systems, and warehouse assets
The Leesburg auction is slated for September, with detailed information on the offering to be released in the coming weeks.
Former Anheuser-Busch Manufacturing Campus – Newark, New Jersey
AssetBuilt continues to manage industrial asset recovery for the former 3.2-million-square-foot brewery campus. The offering includes brewing and fermentation systems, bright beer tanks, high-speed packaging lines, industrial refrigeration, electrical and utility infrastructure, material handling equipment, machine shop assets, extensive MRO inventory, and warehouse systems.
The live webcast auction is scheduled for September 8–11, 2026, with participation expected from manufacturers, equipment dealers, processors, contractors, and industrial investors worldwide. Registration is now open for the Newark auction.

Why It Matters
For food and beverage operators, these auctions are more than a disposal story — they're a sourcing opportunity. Capital equipment is one of the biggest barriers to expansion in beverage manufacturing, and buying proven, high-speed lines (Fogg fillers, SACMI labelers, Douglas case packers, bright beer tanks) at auction can shave months off lead times and dramatically cut capex versus ordering new.
For processors, co-packers, and private-label producers eyeing added capacity, here's the practical playbook:
Match the assets to your roadmap. Citrus extraction and pasteurization systems from Cutrale fit juice and functional-beverage plays; brewing and packaging lines from the Newark campus suit beer, RTD, and canned-beverage expansion.
Register early. Registration is already open for the Newark auction (Sept. 8–11, 2026), and Leesburg details are coming soon — inspection windows and rigging logistics close fast.
Think redeployment, not just resale. These are complete, integrated systems, so complete-line acquisition can be faster and more reliable than piecing together used equipment from multiple sources.
The bigger signal for the industry: legacy manufacturing footprints are being unwound and redistributed globally, and the productive life of quality industrial assets is being extended rather than scrapped. That's a win for margins and for sustainability-minded operators looking to buy proven capacity without a new build.
