Napa, CA – Carpenè Malvolti, the winery founded by the father of Prosecco in the heart of Prosecco Superiore DOCG, has retained Balzac Communications & Marketing, the leading wine public relations and marketing agency, as their agency of record. As the acting agency, Balzac will help promote the wines of Carpenè Malvolti to U.S. industry trade, media, and consumers.

Perfected and introduced to the northwest hills of Italy by Antonio Carpenè, the charmat method of sparkling wine production elevated the quality of sparkling wine in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG. From its founding by the father of Prosecco, Antonio Carpenè, Carpenè Malvolti has been handed down through a single family for 147 years.

Raised in the rich tradition of Prosecco, daughter Rosanna Carpenè represents both the fifth generation of the Carpenè family and the future of Carpenè Malvolti. She inherited her grandfather’s passion for the hills and grapes of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, and works to bring that passion to the world, one bottle at a time. Rosanna chaired the Higher Technical Institute for new technologies Made in Italy, overseeing the food and beverage sector. Under her guidance, Carpenè Malvolti continues to evolve, bringing in the leading edge vineyard and winemaking technology, and innovative market strategies.

In addition to a robust portfolio of DOCG Prosecco, including premium Cartizze Superiore DOCG, Carpenè Malvolti produces Grappa Bianca, Grappa Riserva, and Grappa di Prosecco.
