CHRIS MOORE ANNOUNCED AS HEAD OF BARS FOR THE Ned NoMad

Chris Moore, a highly-regarded figure in the global cocktail scene, is now serving as Head of Bars for The Ned NoMad.

In this new role, Moore oversees the bar program at a total of five establishments, including the property’s two public locations, Little Ned and Cecconi’s. As Head of Bars, Chris leads multiple ambitious cocktail programs with various menus, each changing seasonally.

At Little Ned, a 1920s inspired cocktail bar, Moore curated a menu of reimagined classics with cocktails like the Champagne Martini (vodka, pineau de charentes, lillet blanc, champagne reduction, topped with Moet & Chandon) the Jalapeño Highball (mezcal, ancho verde, green apple liqueur, lime, jalapeño, smoked salt, soda) and the Negroni Bohemia (mezcal, basil oil, luxardo bianco, nardini acqua di cedro, sour pineapple, absinthe).

Moore has an extensive background working with award-winning hotel bars, including The Kenilworth Hotel, and most notably, Savoy Hotel in London as Head Bartender. During his time at the Savoy, he led the hotel’s Beaufort Bar to receive the Best International Hotel Bar Award at Tales of the Cocktail in 2015. After seven years at the Savoy, Moore then ambitiously opened his own cocktail bar, Coupette, in 2017. Coupette found quick success, being named Best New Bar and Best Drink by the CLASS Bar Awards, Best New International Cocktail Bar at the Spirited Awards and Best New Opening as well as number 18 on the World’s 50 Best Bars list, all within 2018.

In 2020, Chris made the leap across the pond to New York to oversee both locations of the beloved Dante which, under his direction, was listed as high as number two on the prestigious World’s 50 Best Bars list.

Chris’s success in the cocktail world, along with his experience specifically within hotel bars, paves the way for loads of success with The Ned NoMad. Both Chris and the hotel are excited for what this partnership will bring.
