David’s Restaurants raise $3200 for Nepal Earthquake Relief

David’s Restaurants, with support from the
Kennebunkport Resort Collection, raise $3200 for Nepal relief

PORTLAND, Maine – On Wednesday, May 13, diners who visited Chef David Turin’s David’s Monument Sq., David’s Opus Ten, David’s 388 or David’s KPT, or the four participating Kennebunkport Resort Collection restaurants, One Dock, Ocean, The Tides Beach Club and Abbondante Trattoria, dined for a cause. The evening fundraiser raised $3,200 for the Red Cross Nepal Earthquake Relief.

David Turin said, “The country’s population is struggling to have access to basic needs, like food and water. I felt that this fundraiser was the least we could do, and I’m grateful to the people who came out in support. I hope that through this event we also helped to raise awareness of the dire situation in Nepal.”

Donations to the Red Cross may be made online, simply select Nepal Earthquake Relief in the “Use My Donation to Support” bar. The minimum online donation is $10. “It is my sincere wish that people will continue to offer support,” said Turin.
