Double Helix Wine & Whiskey Lounge raises a glass to National Red Wine Day with wine and cheese specials, August 28

WHAT:             Double Helix Wine & Whiskey Lounge at Town Square raises a glass to National Red Wine Day, Monday, Aug. 28 by offering guests half-off a cheese and charcuterie board of their choice, with the purchase of any bottle of wine from the restaurant’s “Hidden GEMS” list. This list features nearly two dozen bottles of white, red and sparkling wine that are specially priced for a limited time only. Double Helix also offers half-off bottles of wine under $99 every Monday, giving wine aficionados extra reason to celebrate this year’s National Red Wine Day.

For one day only, guests who purchase a bottle of wine from the “Hidden GEMS” list can purchase an artisanal cheese and charcuterie board at 50 percent off. Cheese board selections include the Truffle Boschetto ($8.69), Manchego ($7.99), Sweet Red Cheddar ($7.49) and Dubliner ($8.39). Charcuterie selections include Sweet Soppressata ($7.79), Prosciutto ($7.99) and Spicy Soppressata ($7.79). Perfect for sharing, guests can also order the Double Triple, which includes three cheeses and three charcuterie selections ($45.99). All boards are served with seasonal condiments and grilled focaccia.

Double Helix is open 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.



Double Helix Wine & Whiskey Lounge opened at Town Square in 2011 and has served as an unrivaled destination for great food, unique drinks, and a dynamic social scene for more than 12 years. The 2,800 square-foot-space features a full bar serving 60 wines by the glass, 330 whiskey labels, custom cocktails, wine and whiskey flights, as well as an assortment of small plates created by Co-Owner and Executive Chef Doug Vega.
