MILA OMAKASE BY RIVIERA DINING GROUP PARTNERS WITH THE BASTION COLLECTION’S TWO-MICHELIN STAR L’ATELIER DE JOEL ROBUCHON FOR OMAKASE COLLABORATION SERIES

MILA Omakase by Riviera Dining Group (RDG) will be joining forces with L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon by The Bastion Collection for an exclusive nine-course omakase collaboration series this January from Wednesday the 17th to Thursday the 18th. The one-of-a-kind partnership promises an evening of refined indulgence at L’Atelier, where seasonal flavors are highlighted using techniques driven by MILA Omakase combined with a sophisticated, yet approachable modern French touch.

MILA Omakase & L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Collab

MILA Omakase is a new concept by RDG and is home to one of Miami’s most exclusive omakase offerings. Helmed by Chef Reji Yoshizawa and magnified by the Mediterranean influence of RDG’s Corporate Chef Michaël Michaelidis, MILA Omakase is renowned for its exquisite culinary interpretation of Japan’s 72 micro-seasons.

Together with L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, the only two-Michelin star restaurant in Florida, the two culinary powerhouses have created an immersive, ultra-luxurious omakase experience celebrating the season’s freshest ingredients and merging MediterrAsian and French cuisine with traditional Japanese Omakase techniques. L’Atelier’s Executive Chef James Friedberg combines his mastery with experimental flavors, applying new ideas to the restaurant’s ever-changing seasonal dishes, utilizing ingredients sourced from top local and regional purveyors.

“I am honored to be partnering with a Chef and restaurant that I so greatly admire for MILA Omakase’s next collaboration series,” says MILA Omakase Head Chef Reji Yoshizawa. “These opportunities are an incredible opportunity to flex our creative culinary skills and offer our esteemed guests a truly once-in-a-lifetime epicurean experience.”

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon will host Chef Reiji for two evenings of culinary mastery, featuring synergetic dishes including Le Thon Rouge (Bluefin tuna, golden osetra, nori crisp, hanaho); L’Atelier’s famed Le Foie Gras (Foie Gras Royale, parmesan foam and essence of Maury ″Vieilles Vignes″), La Truffe Noire (Crispy Truffle Tart with Onion Confit and Smoked Bacon); and Les Nigiri (Scallops, Winter Truffles, Otoro, Osetra Prestige, Wagyu, Sea Urchin). Before or after the meal, guests will be able to discover and delight in specialty cocktails downstairs at one-Michelin star Le Jardinier, crafted by the restaurant’s Head Bartender Rosa Vilanova. Guests will then be gifted with a take-home box of house-made bonbons to commemorate their one-of-a-kind experience with MILA Omakase and L’Atelier.

This crossover marks a continuation of a collaboration series of prestigious culinary takeovers, having hosted Chef James at MILA Omakase for three nights in October 2023, as well as omakase popups with Dominique Crenn, one of the world’s most decorated female chefs of all time, in March 2023 and Manu Bufarra, 50 Best’s Latin America’s Best Female Chef for 2022, in May 2023. For the first time, MILA Omakase will be venturing outside of its location to introduce its unique flair and flavors to L’Atelier’s revered audience.

“Our goal for MILA Omakase, and for all of RDG’s outlets, is to constantly push the boundaries of what a true luxury hospitality experience can look like,” says Riviera Dining Group Founder and CEO Gregory Galy. “We aim to partner with similarly distinguished establishments to create culinary experiences that otherwise would not be available and leave guests always looking out for what’s next.”

The nine-course experience hosted at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon (151 NE 41st St, Miami, FL 33137) is $490 ++ per person and can be further elevated with two optional wine pairings for $250 and $350. Two seatings of 14 guests are available on Wednesday, January 17th and Thursday, January 18th at 6:30PM and 9:00PM both nights. Seats are limited and reservations are required via Resy, linked HERE.
