Montage Beverly Hills Announces New Dining Director

Montage Beverly Hills today announced the appointments of three key team members to their Food & Beverage and Sales teams, respectively: James Proctor, Dining Director; Kathryn Carlton, Director of Group Sales; and Megan Conlin, National Sales Manager.

Proctor joins Montage Beverly Hills from Montage Laguna Beach, where his focus and passion in the role of Assistant Dining Director had a significant impact on overall revenues and operating expenses. Prior to Montage Laguna Beach, James’ food and beverage experience included roles as Assistant General Manager at Pelican Grill at The Resort at Pelican Hill and Charlie Palmer at Bloomingdale’s South Coast Plaza.

Carlton was most recently Director of National Sales with The Hotel del Coronado, and will be handling group sales focused on the West Coast with an emphasis on corporate, entertainment, and international markets. Carlton also held positions as Senior Sales Manager with Ojai Valley Inn & Spa and Hyatt Regency Monterey before joining Montage Beverly Hills. Carlton’s industry affiliations include The Society of Incentive & Travel Executives (SITE), Meeting Professionals International (MPI), and Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI).

Conlin began her hospitality career at Four Seasons Palo Alto, and joins Montage Beverly Hills most recently from Four Seasons Santa Barbara. In this role she will oversee group accounts in the Midwest and Northeast, heavily focused on incentive markets on behalf of the hotel.

“We are delighted to welcome these new team members in their very important positions,” said Hermann Elger, General Manager, Montage Beverly Hills. “We look forward to learning and benefitting from their extensive hospitality backgrounds.”
