Basin Harbor Club – Vergennes, VTNew Summer Packages at 8 Kindred Resorts & Hotels

A charming seasonal resort open May through October, Basin Harbor Club spans 700 acres of lakeside splendor and tranquil countryside with 74 individual cottages and 47 guest rooms. Groups can take advantage of the outdoor setting by building a custom activity menu including miles of hiking trails, tubing, tennis, scavenger hunts, triathlon challenges, birdwatching, knockerball, lake cruises and more.

This year, the 1,500-square-foot Wildernath Garden will be completely replanted and transformed into the Harry Potter Garden, which can be rented out to groups. On August 10th 2016, the garden will also play host to a Harry Potter Hogwarts Banquet, complete with Quidditch matches and Butter Beer.

The holistic Canyon Ranch® brand, which emphasizes an integrative approach to healthy living and transformative wellness, is enhancing their signature wellness experience this summer with new programming including their first-ever bath & body collection, available as both on-property amenities and for retail.

The Tucson property will host a new summer event – Men’s Health Week, July 12-15, 2016, – inspired by Medical Director Stephen Brewer MD’s new book, The Canyon Ranch Guide to Men’s Health: A Doctor’s Prescription for Male Wellness. Joined by other Canyon Ranch experts, Dr. Brewer will discuss the latest research, trends and strategies for men pursuing lifelong health. In late May, the iconic New England seaside resort Ocean House will debut their latest culinary endeavor, the whimsical “Below Deck” store, which will serve an assortment of soft goods and sugary treats for guests. Conveniently located along the walking path to the Ocean House beach, the indoor/outdoor eatery and retail space will offer eight flavors of decadent handmade gelato and old-fashioned candy. The feature attraction is a machine which serves small batches of made-to-order mini doughnuts, coated in flavored sugars and house-made dipping sauces. Meeting attendees can opt for a Below Deck Break instead of a traditional coffee.

Guests can also take their Below Deck treats to-go and bring them to the property’s brand-new movie theater. Featuring cinema-quality technology, three tiers of stunning vintage theater seating and freshly popped popcorn, guests and groups may enjoy daily showings of newly released films in their downtime, or can rent out the space for private screenings and events.
