“I have been able to watch the neighborhood evolve since opening my first restaurant across the street 10 years ago,” says Guac owner Vincent Sgarlato. “With Guac, my family played a huge role in helping me develop the concept as we wanted to give patrons a new reason to fall in love with the East Village. We thought a restaurant dedicated to a staple menu item such as guacamole would be a great start,” he adds.
