Tanduay Asian Rum Celebrates National Rum Day

In honor of one of the world’s oldest and most prolific spirits, Tanduay Asian Rum features two cocktails to commemorate National Rum Day. This year, become more acquainted with this decorated Asian rum and revel in the holiday on August 16 with The 1854 and the Ginger Mojito.

The recipient of over 130 medals in its 160 year history, Tanduay Asian Rum’s versatile flavor profile has garnered the attention of rum experts and novices alike. Enjoy the summer’s end with the silky smooth and complex tastes of both of Tanduay’s expressions with The 1854, a Far East take on the classic Mai Tai, made with Tanduay’s Silver and Gold rums. For an Asian spin on a seasonal favorite, the Ginger Mojito blends zesty ginger liqueur with herbaceous, cool mint and Tanduay Silver Asian Rum—recently awarded “Best White Rum” at the well-recognized industry event, SF World Spirits Competition.
