The Italian-American Cook Returns to the Screen! Chef Steve Martorano will Create Docu-Soap Based on his Life Story and Film Season 2 of Culinary Web SeriesAfter a wildly successful first season that premiered in 2011, the South Philadelphia native and award-winning restaurateur will begin shooting season two of his culinary series, “Steve Martorano: The Italian American Cook” on November 9th. The eight-episode online show will premiere in January 2014 (see it on www.cafemartorano.com and on www.seminolehardrockhollywood.com/yocuz ) and be released on DVD in March 2014. Filmed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida (home to the restaurant Martorano’s Italian-American Kitchen), “The Italian-American Cook” web series features Martorano preparing the classic South Philly Italian-American dishes that were part of his childhood and inspired him to build his culinary empire. Steve now owns three restaurants (with a fourth on the way!), published a cookbook/autobiography, and has a retail line of pasta sauces and his signature “Yo Cuz!” apparel. Viewers will also be treated to a narrative about the significance and history of the recipes’ ingredients while Martorano demonstrates proper kitchen preparation and cooking techniques. And of course, expect surprise celebrity guests that could range from actors to rappers to athletes – all frequent clientele of Martorano’s restaurants in Florida and Las Vegas.
