Philadelphia’s Premier Luxury Hotel Recognizes its Milestone in Style with Special Sips, Sweets and Surprises

The Rittenhouse toasts 25th anniversary with summer-long celebrationsPhiladelphia’s beloved luxury hotel, The Rittenhouse, today announced a series of special offerings in honor of its 25thanniversary this June. The iconic, 116-room property, which opened its doors in 1989, is celebrating the milestone with renewed vigor as it nears the end of a $10 million revitalization. Improvements to the recently rebranded hotel include the addition of a sophisticated Library Bar and enhanced Afternoon Tea service at the Mary Cassatt Tea Room, as well as the addition of five ultra-luxe Park Suites overlooking picturesque Rittenhouse Square. The hotel also refreshed the lobby, guest rooms and public event spaces. As the culminating stage of the enhancements, the hotel will welcome a new full-service spa, health club and salon later this summer, The Rittenhouse Spa & Club – Hair by Paul Labrecque.

“For twenty-five years, The Rittenhouse has captured the hearts of guests from around the world, and we are thrilled to celebrate and pay homage to its rich history,” says Reginald Archambault, General Manager.  “This summer we’re inviting guests and locals alike to enjoy the best of the hotel’s recent enhancements, while recognizing its special place in Philadelphia and toasting to the next 25 years.”

The Library Bar
Throughout the month of June, guests can enjoy the Silver Anniversary cocktail at The Library Bar, The Rittenhouse’s sophisticated cocktail destination located just off the lobby. Created by The Rittenhouse’s own Master Mixologist, Papi Hurtado, the cocktail is inspired by the precious metal that represents 25 years and features champagne, 25-year aged balsamico and a fresh strawberry reduction.
