ABOUT PROJECT DINNER TABLE
Project Dinner Table is the popular local dining phenomenon blending a philanthropic approach and appreciation for the farm to table movement, while focusing on what we love: food, community and purpose. A series of once-in-a-lifetime, dinners served around one long, white-linen-draped table set in unique and adventurous settings, Project Dinner Table celebrates phenomenal chefs, local growers and sustainable sources. Furthermore, each gathering brings diverse individuals together to share a meal served family-style, all while rediscovering the lost art of conversation. Guests at every event may expect to find themselves breaking bread with community leaders, local growers, food artisans, restaurateurs and other spirited guests. Project Dinner Table has partnered with United Way of Southern Nevada, ultimately leaving a legacy for the community, powered by community. The 2014 season is presented by Land Rover Las Vegas; additional sponsors and partners include; United Way of Southern Nevada, Bank of America, Bank of Nevada, Wirtz Beverage Nevada, Five Six Productions, Gaia Flowers, Confess Media, Colorado River Coffee Roasters, Whole Foods and Real Water. ABOUT MONTELAGO VILLAGE
MonteLago Village is a quaint and upscale commercial complex which features a unique collection of boutiques, charming lakeside restaurants and bistros, as well as an elegant casino. The architecture of MonteLago Village reflects the Mediterranean theme. Adjacent to the village is The Hilton, Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa and Aston MonteLago Village Resort offering one-two-and three-bedroom condominiums and just down the parkway is the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa. Inspired by the beauty of centuries-old villages, MonteLago Village is a “piccolo” community, a small gathering place whose layout draws upon generations of experience that have gone into the evolution of European lakeside villages. The village incorporates the casual elegance of the Tuscany region in its hotels and spa while the small intimate lakeside communities of the Northern Italy lake region are reflected in the retail village. Also prominent in the retail village and the condominiums along the immediate lake edge is a sprinkling of influence from Portofino. Placed in a prominent position on the village hillside is Casino MonteLago exemplifying how the village’s natural topography merges with its Italian architectural elements to emulate the hillside villages found along Northern Italy’s lakes. The village’s focal point, a colorful bridge spanning Lake Las Vegas, was inspired by the Pontevecchio bridge in Florence, Italy and stands as a landmark to all resort guests. The heart of MonteLago Village is the retail promenade with its piazzas, restaurants and unique, small shops coupled with residential units on the floors above to evoke a classic European community. Guests of the 55,000-square-foot commercial village discover a pedestrian-only experience where streets curve to plazas lined with unique retail boutiques, waterside restaurants and quaint outdoor cafes. White-sand beaches with approximately a mile of lakeside walkways and harbor side boat docks create a European atmosphere reminiscent of Tuscany, Portofino and Lake Como. Lake Las Vegas Marina, tucked along the water’s edge of the village, offers rentals of canopied electric boats and gondolas to transport guests and residents between the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa and MonteLago Village.
