TPC Sawgrass, home of THE PLAYERS Championship, is pleased to welcome its new Executive Chef, Matt Voskuil. With nearly three decades of experience, Voskuil will be responsible for managing the culinary operations for the entire property.
“We are thrilled to welcome Chef Voskuil to TPC Sawgrass,” said Kent James, vice president of food and beverage, PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties. “His experience, coupled with his passion for the industry, will be a major asset to the club and property. We look forward to seeing his fresh take come to life and watching him further enhance our elevated experience.”
A native of Wisconsin, Voskuil joins TPC Sawgrass most recently from the Ocean House in Rhode Island where he served as the Group Executive Chef since 2019. His prior experience includes leading culinary teams at The Chanler at Cliff Walk, The Venetian Resort, Aria Las Vegas, Bellagio, as well as being a part of the opening team for Joël Robuchon at the Mansion in MGM Grand, the first and only three-Michelin Star restaurant in Las Vegas.
“With a personal passion for golf and the culinary industry, I couldn’t think of a more ideal opportunity to lead the exceptional team at TPC Sawgrass,” said Voksuil. “We will strive to ensure our dining options are as remarkable as the stunning golf courses by crafting unique, memorable dishes for all facets of our club – from NINETEEN to THE PLAYERS Championship and all the events we host throughout the year.”
