AmeriPride Celebrates 125th Anniversary at Gala Event with Management, Family Owners, Board Members and Strategic PartnersAmeriPride Services, a leading uniform rental and linen supply company in North America, last week celebrated its 125th anniversary as a company with a gala event at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. Attendees included family ownership, senior leadership from across the company, the Board of Directors and select strategic partners from throughout the industry.

“Reaching 125 years as a company is a huge milestone and celebrating with our key stakeholders was a great way to celebrate this accomplishment,” said Bill Evans, President and CEO of AmeriPride. “It was really special to have our directors and general managers from across the U.S. and Canada intermingle with our executive leadership, Board of Directors and family ownership. In addition, we were able to incorporate some of our key industry vendor partners into the event, as well.”

The event included a cocktail reception, dinner and a short program recognizing some key management and vendors. The company also unveiled its new 125th anniversary video and it’s recently updated corporate history book.

The company was founded in 1889 by George and Frank Steiner and is still owned by the family. Harriet ‘Teedee’ Ludwick, the last remaining second generation family owner and longtime Board member, was recognized for her service to the company with an engraved crystal vase. She also gave a short speech and led the entire group in a champagne toast.

In addition to this award, the company also recognized several general managers for outstanding performance. Recognized were Tommy Clark from the Odessa branch, Richard Boyce from the Calgary branch and Dave Reichert from the Lethbridge branch.
