Baskin-Robbins Now Serving Warm Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches & Sundaes

What do you get when you combine two of America’s favorite desserts? HEAVEN!

Baskin-Robbins rolled out their new Warm Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich and Sundae this month and really upped the cold treat’s game.

The cookies, baked fresh every morning, come four ways – Dark Chocolate Chunk, Double Fudge, Peanut Butter Chocolate and White Chunk Macadamia Nut. They are warmed first (two cookies or three) and stuffed with guest’s favorite ice cream flavors. If you aren’t a sandwich lover, go for the Warm Cookie Sundae instead – served with two cookies and your favorite ice cream.

Jeff Miller, Executive Chef and Vice President of Product Innovation at Dunkin’ Brands says, “Our new Warm Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches and Sundaes are completely customizable with a guest’s favorite combination of warm cookies, ice cream flavors and toppings. That includes our new March Flavor of the Month, Cookie Jar Mashup, which combines three classic cookies into one delicious treat.”

I opted for the sandwich  – Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream stuffed between a Dark Chocolate Chunk and Double Fudge Cookie. It came neatly packed in an old-school style paper sandwich bag and was gone in less than 5 minutes.

And for those lucky Las Vegans, Baskin-Robbins is currently serving a Donut Ice Cream Sandwich in participating Las Vegas and Henderson shops for a limited time. It features your favorite flavor topped with hot fudge and sandwiched between a soft and fluffy powdered sugar donut.

The 70+ year old franchise is the world’s largest chain of ice-cream specialty shops and was named the top ice cream and frozen dessert franchise in the United States by Entrepreneur magazine’s 37th annual Franchise 500® ranking in 2016.
