Culinary Community Unites for Three Square’s 19th Las Vegas Restaurant Week, June 1 through 12

By Beth Martino

In a region known for world-class dining, too many of our neighbors still face impossible choices about food.  One in six Southern Nevadans, including more than 113,000 children, are unsure where their next meal will come from. That uncertainty places real strain on families, making everyday life harder than it should be. No one should have to live that way, yet many do because of circumstances beyond their control.

At Three Square Food Bank, we work alongside our community partners every day to meet that need with care and consistency. But one of the most powerful ways our community comes together each year starts around the table.

Now in its 19th year, Las Vegas Restaurant Week invites restaurants across Southern Nevada to give back through the culinary arts. This 12-day event each June encourages residents and visitors alike to dine out for a great meal and a meaningful cause.

In Las Vegas, the hospitality community is at the heart of how we care for one another. Chefs, restaurateurs, and hospitality teams understand better than anyone the power of a shared meal. Through Restaurant Week, they are not just serving guests. They are helping lead a community-wide effort to ensure everyone has a seat at a table.

From June 1 to 12, hundreds of restaurants and venues will once again come together with thousands of diners to help address food insecurity. Participating restaurants offer curated prix fixe menus for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner at a range of price points, with a portion of each meal supporting neighbors facing hunger.

Restaurant Week is powerful because it transforms the simple act of dining out into something much bigger. Each meal enjoyed becomes part of a collective effort to ensure families, children and seniors across Southern Nevada have access to the food they need.

For many, hunger is not a temporary challenge, but an ongoing reality shaped by rising housing costs, wages that have not kept pace with inflation and limited access to affordable groceries. Working parents, seniors on fixed incomes and children who rely on school meals are among those most affected.

Funds raised through Las Vegas Restaurant Week help Three Square source and distribute food through a network of more than 150 community partners, ensuring support reaches people where they are, when they need it most.

Last year alone, more than 290 restaurants and 64,000 diners participated, raising over $400,000 and helping provide 1.2 million meals. Since 2007, Las Vegas Restaurant Week has helped generate more than 10 million meals for neighbors in need.

While the need remains high, so does the strength of this community. Restaurant Week is a reflection of what makes Southern Nevada special: a hospitality community that leads with generosity and a shared belief that everyone deserves access to food.
