Four Points by Sheraton Los Angeles International Airport Appoints Dorian L. Southall as Executive Chef

Four Points by Sheraton Los Angeles International Airport is excited to announce Dorian Southall as the executive chef of the 573-room hotel. In his new role, Southall will be responsible for the daily operation of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets including Brewster’s Bar & Grill, Comfort Restaurant as well as the in-room dining, meetings and catering menus. Given Southall’s passion for food and innovative culinary skills, he recently introduced a new beer tapas menu at Brewster’s Bar & Grill which complements the property’s 100-beer menu.

“I’m excited to spearhead all food and beverage offerings at Four Points by Sheraton LAX and to develop unique cuisine showcasing the hotel’s beer offerings,” said Chef Dorian Southall. “Our beer menu changes constantly and I’m really looking forward to the challenge of creating gourmet beer-infused tapas and meals that guests will enjoy.”

Prior to joining the Four Points by Sheraton LAX team, the California-native chef served as executive banquet chef at The Portofino Hotel & Marina in Redondo Beach, California and as the interim executive chef at Quarter Kitchen Restaurant at the Ivy Hotel in San Diego. Southall began his culinary career in 1994 while he was in the US Marine Corps where he received the Navy Achievement Medal for Food Service Excellence and a Certificate of Merit from the W.P.T Hill Awards, which recognizes the best messes in the Marine Corps.
