Cernuda To Oversee Expansion of the 100 Montaditos Brand throughout United States and Latin America
100 Montaditos, the Spain-based food company, announced today the appointment of Francisco Javier Cernuda as CEO of 100 Montaditos in America. In this capacity, Cernuda will direct, coordinate and execute strategic marketing development plans in the United States and Latin America for the corporate expansion of 100 Montaditos. His addition to the management team at Restalia, the Madrid-based restaurant holding company that owns 100 Montaditos, coincides with the 2014 announcement of the opening of 70 additional international restaurants within the existing portfolio.

With degrees in Economics and Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid, Cernuda has over 30+ years of experience in market development. Cernuda he has led the expansion and internationalization process of many large companies. At Alcampo, Cernuda was responsible for the real estate management of its centers for nearly 15 years. He also served as Expansion Director at Leroy Merlin and Unibail -Rodamco Europe. At Sociedad de Gestión de Activos procedentes de la Reestructuración Bancaria (SAREB), Cernuda was Director of Asset Income for the company’s Society of Assets with proceeds from the Banking entity.
Cernuda plans to broaden international horizons of the company and expand the management team. Currently, he manages U.S. and Latin American projects from Miami, the corporate branch that 100 Montaditos established in 2011.
