Heineken USA Announces 10th Annual “New Year. Safe Ride.” Program For New Years Eve.HEINEKEN USA once again joined forces with The City of White Plains and The White Plains Business Improvement District to help keep residents safe on New Year’s Eve. The groups today announced the 10th annual “New Year. Safe Ride.” program, in which HEINEKEN USA provided free and safe rides home for Westchester County residents of legal drinking age who celebrated New Year’s Eve in downtown White Plains.

A dedicated fleet of more than 30 cars provided complimentary rides home for those 21 and older traveling anywhere in White Plains and throughout Westchester County.

“Over the past nine years, the ‘New Year. Safe Ride.’ program has provided more than 3,000 free and safe rides home for Westchester County residents of legal drinking age to help people enjoy a safe and happy holiday season,” said Stacey Tank, Senior Vice President & Chief Corporate Relations Officer, HEINEKEN USA. “This program is a long-standing demonstration of the importance HEINEKEN USA places on responsible consumption. We are honored to stand alongside our community partners and are proud to be headquartered here in White Plains.”

“The White Plains Business Improvement District is proud to partner with The City of White Plains, and many local sponsors, for The 14th Annual White Plains New Year’s Eve Spectacular. Safe Ride,” underscores the importance that HEINEKEN USA places on responsible consumption and promoting safe behavior, as well partnering with communities and law enforcement.

“HEINEKEN USA’s ‘New Year. Safe Ride.’ program offers a valuable community service, providing a safe means of transportation home for party goers and safer roads throughout Westchester County for our community on New Year’s Eve,” commented Kevin J.
