Honor BBQ will bring southern-influenced barbeque made with “Battle Born” pride to Mountain’s Edge in the heart of Southwest Las Vegas. Conceived by hospitality veteran Andy Hooper of Hooper Hospitality Concepts, Honor BBQ will showcase traditional Texas-and-Tennessee influenced barbeque classics, housemade sauces, craft cocktails, and more in a casual, at-home atmosphere. Honor BBQ is set to open its doors Friday, July 5, 2024.

Pulling from their eclectic experience, ranging from high-end culinary institutions to family recipes, pitmasters Jacob Williamson and Lorena Telles have created a delicious menu with mouth-watering, fall-off-the-bone recipes and unique twists on countryside favorites perfect for backyard celebrations or a quick lunch on-the-go. Kick every meal off right with one of Honor BBQ’s shareable starters, including Fried Pickle Chips, Cauliflower Bites, Fried Green Tomatoes, “Texas Twinkies,” extra-large Jalapeño Peppers stuffed with Smoked Brisket, Crispy Deviled Eggs, and housemade Cornbread with Honey-Whipped Butter.

Smoked “low and slow” for up to 11 hours and sourced out of Texas, the Honor BBQ menu includes a variety of responsibly raised, high-quality meats that have been hickory smoked and served to perfection. Available by the half-pound or served as a sandwich, entrees include Sliced or Chopped Brisket, Pulled Pork, Whole Beer Can Chicken, Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage Links, Pork Spare Ribs, or the “Hot Link of the Day.” All entrées are available with Honor BBQ’s homemade sauce, which will be available in original, spicy, and sweet. Classic sides include Baked Beans, Bacon-Braised Green Beans, Street Corn, and Fried Okra. Finish the meal off right with an All-American, homemade dessert, including Banana Pudding, Carrot Cake, or Triple Chocolate Cake.

No barbeque is complete without ice-cold drinks, as Honor BBQ offers a variety of drafts, canned beer, and specialty cocktails, including the El Luchador Margarita with 818 Blanco, Agave Nectar, and fresh Lime Juice; Spicy B*tch with Chacho Aguardiente Jalapeno, fresh Lime Juice, Pineapple Syrup, and Agave Nectar; Apples & Brown Sugar with Evan Williams Apple Whiskey, fresh Lemon Juice, Apple Syrup, and Brown Sugar; and the classic, Honor Old Fashioned with Horse Soldier Bourbon, Bitters, and Black Sugar Syrup.
