Creating Community Through Design

A Unique Addition to The Seam

The Seam itself is undergoing a significant transformation, repurposing a 1970s office complex into a 160,000-square-foot mixed-use destination. Once completed, it will feature nearly 50 curated spaces for boutique retail, dining, and wellness. Lumis stands out as a polished late-night option that enhances the vibrant social fabric of the Design District, already home to renowned establishments such as Carbone and Delilah.

Building on Proven Success

Co-owners Mayur Desai and Atik Mistry, along with their partners Jinesh and Krutik Patel, bring experience from their previously successful venture, De Fortune in Houston, to Lumis. “We envision Lumis as a cozy and refined but energetic retreat,” they stated, emphasizing their commitment to fostering an atmosphere that feels both transportive and accessible.

Why Lumis Matters to the Dallas Nightlife Scene

As The Seam emerges as a social anchor for the Design District, Lumis is poised to play a crucial role in enhancing the nightlife offerings in one of Texas’ most dynamic neighborhoods. The focus on atmosphere-driven hospitality aligns with current trends in the food and beverage industry, where experiential dining and nightlife are increasingly sought after.
