With over three decades of experience in the spirits industry, Torres brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Stauning. His distinguished career includes roles as Senior Vice President of Sales Central States at Hard Truth Distilling and Regional Director at Remy Cointreau USA, where he demonstrated exceptional sales prowess, particularly in the Midwest. Torres’s multifaceted background, spanning both wholesalers and suppliers, positions him as a seasoned leader poised to drive Stauning’s sales strategy to new heights.


Born and raised in Chicago, Torres possesses an intuitive understanding of local market dynamics and consumer preferences. His previous engagements with renowned whiskies like Macallan, Highland Park, Glenfiddich as well as his contributions to smaller brands such as Bruichladdich Distillery, have equipped him with a comprehensive insight into U.S. whisky trends. Torres’s adeptness at identifying and capitalizing on key trade opportunities makes him an invaluable asset as Stauning Whisky navigates the competitive American landscape.
