Organized by the Tourism Committee of St Barthélemy, this year’s festival will feature seven talented French chefs, from Michelin-starred to promising young masters. The festival celebrates exceptional cuisine with a long-standing tradition of culinary excellence.

This year, Eden Rock – St Barths has the great honor of welcoming Pastry Chef Laurent Jeannin from Forbes five-star property and member of the Oetker Collection’s Le Bristol Paris along with 3 Michelin starred Emmanuel Renaut, ambassador of this year’s festival. Triple-starred Master Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten acted as ambassador of last year’s festival.

During the festival, Eric Desbordes, executive chef at Eden Rock’s restaurants will collaborate with Chef Laurent Jeannin to serve a unique four-course sweet and savory menu themed around the fine art of pastry. As the gastronomic grand finale on the final evening, a signature eight-course tasting menu will be served, giving all three-star chefs the opportunity to combine their individual interpretations of contemporary French cuisine.

“St Barths is a real heaven for foodies” says Chef Eric Desbordes “and with the Gourmet Festival, Eden Rock will once again provide French art-de-vivre in the heart of the Caribbean.”

The 2015 Gourmet Festival of St Barths, often referred to as the culinary capital of the Caribbean, promises to be just as exciting this year.
