THE KITCHEN AT PRIEST RANCH CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING IN DOWNTOWN YOUNTVILLE

Kitchen at Priest Ranch Celebrates Grand Opening in Downtown Yountville

Priest Ranch Wines is proud to announce the grand opening of The Kitchen at Priest Ranch (KPR) in downtown Yountville. The new culinary destination marries the casual elegance of American cuisine with Executive Chef Dan Solomon’s Midwestern flare, seamlessly paired with Priest Ranch’s portfolio estate-grown Napa Valley wines.

Chef Dan, with experience in the bustling kitchens of Chicago to La Toque in Napa, infuses a respect for seasonal ingredients and an understanding of the interplay between food and wine. Embracing an adventurous philosophy which encourages guests to “Be Viticurious,” KPR’s pairings explore unique combinations that elevate both the dish and the wine. The menu incorporates ingredients and items from purveyors such as Mary’s Chicken, Chef Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bakery, Marin French Cheese, Betty Buzz sparkling soda and Blue Bottle Coffee. Menu highlights include the signature Smashburger with Priest Ranch Cabernet  Sauvignon, Loaded Latke with Priest Ranch Brut Rose, Crispy Chicken Sando with kimchi slaw and Priest Ranch Sauvignon Blanc, and Steak Frites with Priest Ranch Snake Oil Cabernet Sauvignon.

KPR’s wine list is a celebration of Priest Ranch’s estate property, grown at the Somerston Estate’s sprawling 1,682 acres in the eastern Vaca Mountains. Each  menu item is paired to enhance the wines’ individual profiles. Guests may order select wines by the glass or bottle from the restaurant or choose from the winery’s entire portfolio next door at the Priest Ranch tasting room.

“KPR is a testament to our dedication of melding simplicity and sophistication. It’s about creating dishes that resonate with our guests and highlight the natural character of our wines,” says Chef Dan.

Recognizing a need in Napa Valley for a dining experience that caters to elevated convenience, KPR aims to bridge this gap by ensuring quality dining and thoughtful pairings without the formalities. Located adjacent to the Priest Ranch tasting room and open daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, KPR offers both indoor and outdoor seating for approximately 45 guests and boasts a charming patio and the only rooftop seating area in Yountville, offering diners a chance to enjoy their meals amidst 360-degree views. Pricing is set to appeal to both the casual diner and the gourmet, reflecting the team’s mission to offer a gathering place that’s as inviting to the local community as it is to visitors of Napa Valley.
