The Allison Inn & Spa appoints Executive Chef, Jack Strong

Oregon Wine Country’s award-winning, The Allison Inn & Spa, is pleased to welcome Jack Strong to Executive Chef. In this new role, Chef Strong will lead all culinary programs at the 85-room award-winning boutique resort, including the resort’s signature restaurant JORY.

 

Oregon-born Chef Strong comes to The Allison Inn & Spa with over 30 years of culinary experience under his belt and most recently held the position as Executive Chef at the 453-room JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa. During his tenure, he was awarded the coveted Culinary Excellence of the Americas by Marriott. Chef Strong previously held positions at Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel and the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa where he was honored with a James Beard nomination for Best Chef Southwest and co-authored the cookbook, The New Native American Cuisine. He began his career in the Culinary Arts Program at Lane Community College in Eugene, OR.

Chef Strong will work with integral leaders at The Allison Inn including Master Gardener and Resident Beekeeper, Anna Ashby and Wine Director, Brian Cook to elevate menus and the dining experience for guests.

The Allison Inn & Spa’s JORY culinary team sources the freshest and most vibrant ingredients from the on-property Chef’s Garden and greenhouse.
