The Paulaner Bräuhaus in Moscow

Since March of this year, beer enthusiasts in the Russian capital can discover and enjoy typical Bavarian lifestyle with freshly brewed Paulaner beer and traditional cuisine.

The Paulaner Bräuhaus in Moscow“By opening a Bräuhaus in the heart of Moscow, we are continuing to expand our globally successful gastro-concept,” beams Jürgen Schenk, chief executive for the Paulaner Bräuhaus Consult GmbH in Munich. In Moscow – like in all Paulaner Bräuhaus establishments around the world – only Paulaner beer brewed on location and in strict accordance with the German purity law is being served. The in-house microbrewery – complete with brewhouse, fermentation tanks, storage tanks and bar tanks – will, on a daily basis, guarantee the full-bodied taste of freshly tapped Paulaner beer.

In addition, a cosy roof terrace in traditional Bavarian beer-garden-style with a further 200 seats will be completed in the coming months. Every day from 8 am to 1 am, a total of 120 staff will take good care of all the guests – customer satisfaction is the top priority of the German restaurant manager, Uwe Lindner.

A great atmosphere and culinary delights
Not only the German master brewer Rafael Czapla, but also an Austrian chef, who brings with him years of experience from another Paulaner Bräuhaus, will provide the guests with real delicacies. Good Bavarian home cooking and changing Russian lunch menus will be available at the Moscow Bräuhaus. “Nothing goes better with a hearty meal than a freshly tapped Paulaner beer,” says master brewer Czapla, whose career already saw him working for various breweries in Ghana and Namibia. “With freshly brewed lager, dark beer, weissbier and several different seasonal beers, for example brewed in honour of the traditional Oktoberfest, we offer the perfect beer for every taste,” the 28-year-old smiles. A constantly changing entertainment programme with various bands and seasonal events nicely rounds off the Paulaner Bräuhaus experience in Moscow.
