THE RITZ-CARLTON, SAN FRANCISCO ANNOUNCES THE RETURN OF SOLAIRE TERRASSE WITH VEUVE CLICQUOT POP-UP FROM JUNE 1 – OCTOBER 27

 The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco is delighted to announce the return of Solaire Terrasse in collaboration with Veuve Clicquot, offered from June 1 – October 27, 2024 for its third annual installation. Located in The Terrace Courtyard overlooking the city’s iconic skyline, Solaire Terrasse will feature food and beverage programming, including Madame Clicquot Afternoon Tea on the last Sunday of every month, every Sunday in October and a first-of-its-kind Veuve Clicquot inspired zero proof sorbet – La Grand Dame Sorbet by Gelato Festival.

 

To kick off the summer festivities, guests can enjoy a live performance by the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus at the first event on Saturday, June 1 at 3 p.m., joyously ushering in this seasonal offering and celebrating the beginning of Pride Month.

 

Guests can enjoy a tranquil oasis surrounded by the chef’s herb garden while indulging in a selection of Veuve Clicquot Champagne (Brut Yellow Label, Brut Rosé, Rich, and La Grande Dame) by the glass or bottle. Yellow and white umbrellas featuring plush furnishings, French inspired café tables, and oversized games such as Chess, Jenga and corn hole.

  • The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco Signature Caviar Service – 1 oz. of Private Label Imperial Osetra Caviar served with traditional accompaniments, Potato Chips and Toast Points
  • Gelato Festival Cart – Selection of various dairy and vegan oat gelatos and sorbets including an exclusive Veuve Clicquot inspired zero proof sorbet, “La Grande Dame Sorbet”, which has been crafted with the champagnes flavor notes to emulate the experience of drinking a glass of the iconic Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Champagne.  The sorbet was created exclusively for the Solaire Terrasse pop-up by The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco, Veuve Clicquot, and Gelato Festival

 

Additionally, on the last Sunday of every month from June through October 2024, Madame Clicquot Afternoon Tea is available on the Terrace Courtyard. Priced at $135 USD per guest, this unique offering combines the renowned and sophisticated touchpoints of The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco experience of traditional afternoon tea with the effervescence of Veuve Clicquot Champagne, over classic sandwiches, homemade sweets, and premium tea. As part of
The Ritz-Carlton’s commitment to supporting the community, the Madame Clicquot Afternoon Tea will be available each Sunday in October, and 10% of the proceeds will be donated to Bay Area Cancer Connections.

 

Furthermore, for those looking for a more intimate gathering, The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco is offering a private Solaire Terrasse experience with an exclusive Paella offering. This concept boasts a reception-style setup with existing Veuve Clicquot arrangements and seating accommodations for approximately 60 guests, with a minimum of 25 attendees and a maximum capacity of 100 guests. Operating from June to October on select weekdays, excluding existing Veuve Clicquot weekend activities, guests can enjoy a dedicated menu featuring a choice of three tapas and two paellas. Priced at $135 per person, additional culinary offerings and alcoholic beverages are available for an added fee.
