VISIT UnCommons IN APRIL TO ENJOY THE COMMUNITY’S CULINARY OFFERINGS AND DYNAMIC LINE-UP OF EVENTS

UnCommons, the first-of-its-kind urban campus in Southwest Las Vegas, continues to enrich its vibrant community with an array of exciting events in April. Complementing its already-beloved recurring events, UnCommons will welcome the arrival of spring with an official Vegas Golden Knights watch party, a poetry festival, singing competition and more.

 

The community is bustling with activity this spring. UnCommons’ schedule of events, will include the fan favorite Market in the Alley, the return of Beyond the Neon poetry, a singing competition and more.

 

The complete schedule of April events at UnCommons is as follows:

 

VGK Viewing at General Admission

General Admission, the new go-to sports bar in the southwest area, will offer a complimentary draft beer or glass of wine and appetizer to hockey fans wearing apparel representing Vegas’ hometown team during any of the team’s remaining regular season games from now through Thursday, April 18.

 

UnCommons Food Passport Program

UnCommons invites visitors to travel to trendsetting culinary destinations located throughout the campus with a limited-time Food Passport, available now through Sunday, April 21. Select restaurants at UnCommons will offer visitors physical passports, which will be stamped when guests make a purchase at any participating destination. Visitors must collect a total of four stamps, each from a different eatery, before they can submit their passport to the drop box in The Quad to enter a giveaway for the chance to win a $500 gift card to the establishment of their choice. Participating restaurants include AMARI Italian Kitchen & Wine Shop, The Sundry, General Admission, Wineaux, Todo Bien, Urth Caffe, All’Antico Vinaio and more.

 

Market in the Alley

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, UnCommons will host Market in the Alley in The Quad. Discover and support more than 20 local vendors and creators on the first Sunday of each month.

 

Pop-Up Pilates 

On Sunday, April 7 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., The Good Place, a fun, innovative athletic reformer studio and boutique, will host a free pop-up Pilates class at The Assembly. The Good Place is set to join the UnCommons community this summer, as the community’s first fitness tenant, which will mark the opening of its second location in the city, following the success of its first location in Henderson.

 

General Admission All-Day “Hoppy Hour”

On Sunday, April 7, in celebration of National Beer Day, the sports bar will extend its happy hour to last all day, offering $5 drafts, plus a complimentary beer to the first 100 guests of age.

 

Vegas Golden Knights Block Party

On Wednesday, April 10, starting at 5 p.m., UnCommons will partner with the Vegas Golden Knights to kick-off the organization’s fan appreciation event. In addition to cheering on the beloved home team, hockey fans can enjoy meeting VGK’s service puppy in training, Maverick, as well as shopping the apparel truck, cornhole games, a live DJ and more.

 

Summer Melodies Kick-Off

On Saturday, April 13, UnCommons’ beloved live music series, Summer Melodies will return to The Quad. From 5:30 to 8 p.m., a lineup of eight talented local artists will perform. One of the artists will have a chance to win an additional weekend performance in June.  The winner will be chosen by a panel of esteemed members from the local art community. Applications are now open on UnCommons’ website.

 

Beyond the Neon Poetry Festival

On Sunday, April 21, UnCommons will partner with local poetry organization, Beyond the Neon, to host an enchanting, free-to-attend poetry festival from 4 to 8 p.m. Guests can peruse an enticing book fair showcasing works from talented local authors and pop-up vendors, offering a unique shopping experience from 4 p.m. onwards. From 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., poetry enthusiasts can immerse themselves in a captivating poetry workshop, delving into the intricacies of poetic expression under expert guidance. As the evening progresses, the stage will come alive with the vibrant energy of the spoken word during the poetry open mic session in The Quad from 6 to 8 p.m. Attendees are invited to share their own verses or simply revel in the diverse array of voices and perspectives on display.

 

NFL Draft Viewing at General Admission

From 3 to 8 p.m., during round one of the NFL draft, General Admission will extend its happy hour. Guests can enjoy $5 draft beers, well drinks, house wine and mimosas along with shareable plates like Tokyo Tots and chicken wings, priced at $8 and $10.

 

The Wineaux Club

Wineaux wine market, bar and escape, now offers its own wine club. Each month, the Wineaux Club takes guests on a tasteful adventure with two subscription options, featuring new discoveries and a prestigious selection. Those who are interested can sign up on Wineaux’s website.

 

Brunch & Good Vibes

Every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., The Sundry, a distinctive food hall experience at UnCommons, presents “Brunch & Good Vibes” featuring live music, brunch bites and bloody marys, courtesy of Diane Mina from Diane’s Bloody Mary Bar.

 

AMARI All-Day Happy Hour

AMARI Italian Kitchen & Wine Shop has extended its happy hour to last all day on Sundays. Available from 3 to 9 p.m. every week, guests can enjoy a delectable menu of shareable small plates accompanied by wine, beer, spirits and specialty cocktails. Available in AMARI’s bar and lounge, as well as on the spacious patio, happy hour specials include light dishes and refreshing libations. Happy hour offers are subject to change due to the ongoing introduction of new dishes and seasonal ingredients.
