WAHOO’S FISH TACO CELEBRATES 25 YEARS OF SERVING ITS SIGNATURE FISH TACO

Wahoo’s Fish Taco , a community mainstay and worldwide pop culture phenomenon since 1988, will commemorate 25 years of bringing surf and food together in 2013. To celebrate the company’s milestone anniversary, Wahoo’s will offer special promotions every month throughout 2013. New promotions will begin on the 25th of each month and will include unique offerings such as special discounts, new menu items and a visitor reward program tailored to loyal and new customers alike.

“The combination of our love for surf and food started out as a simple idea at a backyard party 25 years ago,” said Wing Lam, co-founder of Wahoo’s. “Now more than 60 locations later, we are proud to continue serving the food we love to the thousands of loyal customers and having the opportunity to contribute to local charities that support the community we have become a part of. We are amped for the big plans ahead leading into the next 25 years.”

For the past 25 years, Wahoo’s has perfected its eclectic Mexican/Brazilian/Asian menu delivered with a Hawaiian North Shore vibe. Its signature fish taco, which hasn’t changed since day one, has become a favorite among the restaurant’s loyal customers – and a catalyst for the chain’s continued expansion. There are currently 65 locations throughout the nation including stores in California, Colorado, Texas and Hawaii – with new locations recently opened in New York, Nebraska and Nevada.  In addition, there are 10 locations with full bars to accompany the menu.
