The new establishment is conveniently located across from Sawgrass Mills next to Quarterdeck; both locations are owned by the family-operated Old School Hospitality.

The 2,500-square-foot space provides a welcoming atmosphere with 50 seats for guests to relax and enjoy their favorite whiskeys. Connected to Quarterdeck, Whiskey Neat shares the same concept as its existing location on Southeast 17th Street. The bar showcases a stunning multicolored liquor wall stocked with hundreds of rare and sought-after whiskeys. Whiskey Neat patrons can also indulge in a delectable menu of culinary delights from the adjacent kitchen, including American comfort fare, specialty sushi, custom-blend burgers, build-your-own poke bowls, tacos and more.

Whiskey Neat’s expansion in Plantation marks the first of several remarkable projects planned by Old School Hospitality. In 2024, the group is set to unveil Hula Kai Tiki Bar, a two-story tiki-inspired culinary concept on 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale, further enhancing the area’s dining and entertainment offerings.

“Whiskey Neat’s expansion into Plantation is a significant milestone for us,” said Old School Hospitality CEO James Flanigan. “Thanks to the incredible response from our beloved guests, it was a natural step to bring the exceptional Whiskey Neat experience to this area. We are thrilled to offer whiskey enthusiasts in Plantation and beyond an unforgettable journey through over 230 rare whiskeys. Our prime location just across from the Sawgrass Mills mall provides the perfect backdrop for whiskey lovers to savor their passion in a vibrant and dynamic setting.”

Adding to the allure of Whiskey Neat Plantation is a carefully crafted selection of signature cocktails that beautifully complement the extraordinary whiskey collection. The talented mixologists have designed innovative libations, each a masterpiece in its own right. Among the standout creations are the Chai Me Up ($16), made with Maker’s Mark, lemon juice, house-made chai syrup and egg white; Midnight in Manhattan ($16), made with Woodford Rye, Foro Amaro, Bitter Truth bitters and Filthy Cherry; and Eastside Fizz ($13), a refreshing and effervescent libation made with Nolet’s Gin, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, fresh mint and egg white.
