ANTICIPATION BUILDS FOR TOP RESTAURANTS, MUST-VISIT SPOTS AND UNIQUE EATERIES OPENING IN 2024

New restaurants, gaming spots and unique experiences have made the hot list of openings in 2024. From West Midtown to the Eastside Atlanta BeltLine, from Peachtree City to Marietta, metro Atlanta will soon welcome unique options to keep guests fed and entertained. Here is a list of some of the most-anticipated spots.

Bitzel’s Chocolate

Location: Suwanee

Opening: January 2024

Chocolatier and entrepreneur Ray Bitzel along with business partner Dave Rose will soon open a “Willy Wonka”-style experience that invites guests to watch confections being made before their very eyes. The 7,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art glass factory will be managed by celebrity pastry chef Sabrina Coombs and will feature retail and wholesale chocolate treats including chocolate bark, chocolate-covered fruits and nuts, ice cream-filled bonbons and truffles, molded chocolate products and freshly churned gelato. Guests will marvel as they watch the entire chocolate-making process revealed, from the automated production process to in-house packaging. Different types of featured chocolate will include standard milk chocolate, dark chocolate, caramel chocolate and a remarkable ruby chocolate made from ruby cacao.

 

SabaRaba’s Chamblee

Location: Chamblee

Opening: March 2024

SabaRaba’s announces its second location in the mixed-use development of Lumen Chamblee in downtown Chamblee. Known for crispy falafel and comforting shawarma served with a side of good karma, this latest venture from SabaRaba’s adds to the growing tapestry of dining options in Chamblee. A fusion of flavors will greet guests as they indulge in traditional Mediterranean dishes made fresh daily. SabaRaba’s will open on the ground floor of the apartment community, occupying 1,425 square feet with outdoor patio seating.

 

Tin Pin Game Bar

Location: Marietta

Opening: Early 2024

A new gaming and dining destination will open in Avenue East Cobb, featuring popular pinball and nostalgic games along with food and drinks from neighboring location Tin Lizzy’s. The newest venture from Southern Proper Hospitality is an extension of Tin Lizzy’s and offers classic games and state-of-the-art LCD Stern pinball games including The Mandalorian, Godzilla, Foo Fighters, James Bond 007, Deadpool, Guardians of the Galaxy and Stern’s brand-new Venom game. Featured games include Namco 20-Year Reunion (with Ms. Pac Man and Galaga); “multicade” cabinets featuring many different classic games; The Sega Out Run standup racing game; Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting; and Donkey Kong. Tin Pin Game Bar will offer the full Tin Lizzy’s menu of eclectic soft tacos, bowls and quesadillas, plus its full beverage menu of beers, wines, margaritas and specialty cocktails.

 

 

HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern

Location: Peachtree City

Opening: March 2024

Atlanta’s popular gathering spot with locations in Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Atlantic Station, Halcyon and Vinings will open a new location at The Avenue Peachtree City. HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern will offer local fare in a welcoming environment for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. The menu will feature the same favorites that HOBNOB is known for including the short rib melt sandwich with provolone on a ciabatta roll, mac and cheese with a three-cheese blend and the classic steak frites.

 

Nàdair

Location: North Druid Hills

Opening: TBD

The latest venture from chef Kevin Gillespie and the MICHELIN Guide-recognized Gunshow team, Nàdair, (from the Scots Gaelic “Dòigh Nàdair” meaning “the way of nature” and pronounced “nuh-DARE) is the next chapter in a story Gillespie began many years ago at Woodfire Grill. With Nàdair, Gillespie and his team return to the rustic elegance of live fire cooking complemented by a service style marked by intentionality and humility. The restaurant will be located in the former Floataway Café space on Zonolite Road.

 

Taco Mac

Location: Conyers

Opening: Late spring/early summer

Residents in Conyers can get ready for Taco Mac’s mouthwatering menu featuring award-winning fresh, never frozen, locally sourced Buffalo wings multiple HD TVs and 60 beers on tap. The newest Taco Mac location will offer a fun, vibrant atmosphere along with a 165-inch television and more than 40 65-inch televisions for sports viewing.

 

 

YEPPA&co

Location: Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail

Opening: May 2024

YEPPA&co will join Portman Holdings’ Junction Krog District development on the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail, located across from Krog Street Market. The latest concept from Pietro Gianni and Stephen Peterson, of popular restaurant concepts Storico Fresco, Forza Storico and Pachengo’s, will include an expansive outdoor area. This Italian eatery is focused on interpersonal connection, food, wine and cocktails, many from the city of Rimini in the Emilia-Romagna region. The restaurant, like its sister restaurant YEPPA&co in Buckhead Village, will serve items inspired by Rimini including focaccia pizza, paninis and regional pastas such as linguine alle vongole and cacio e pepe. The restaurant will feature a large outdoor patio, complete with an additional bar and spritz bar.

 

Off Leash

Location: Alpharetta

Opening: Summer 2024

A new neighborhood oasis for pups and their people will open in the heart of downtown Alpharetta (142 S. Main Street) just in time to enjoy Off Leash’s patio seating and lush outdoor dog park during summer 2024. Off Leash also will have a unique indoor dog park, allowing all guests to stay cool while they hangout, rain or shine. Off Leash will serve a chef-inspired menu as well as cocktails and other beverages and a special menu of pup-friendly favorites that will make tails wag.
