C. BALDWIN HOTEL APPOINTS GONZAGUE SALLO AS GENERAL MANAGER OF FOOD & BEVERAGE

The design-forward C. Baldwin Hotel in downtown Houston is proud to announce the appointment of Gonzague “G” Sallo as general manager of food & beverage. In his new role, Sallo will oversee all culinary operations at the C. Baldwin, including managing on-site dining concepts, Rosalie Italian Soul and The Lobby Bar, hiring and training personnel, and designing menus alongside Chef Chris Cosentino.

Born in the north of France, Gonzague Sallo was inspired by his grandparents who used to have a restaurant. Their passion for the culinary arts and dedication to bringing people joy through food motivated him to pursue a career in the hospitality industry.

Sallo joins the C. Baldwin culinary team with over two decades of hospitality. He recently served as the director of outlet at The Laura Hotel, responsible for managing the F&B division at the property including the on-site restaurant, in-room dining, banquets and catering.

 

Sallo’s extensive management background and knowledge of global cuisines will play an integral role in his work at the C. Baldwin Hotel, where he will craft Italian American dishes in partnership with Chef Chris Cosentino for Rosalie Italian Soul while putting quality customer service at the forefront of his leadership.
