Ibiza’s newest hotspot MAINA Ibiza is pleased to announce it is now open to the public. The new restaurant takes over a carefully restored 18th century finca by the small church of Sant Francesc de S’Estany, a short drive from Ibiza Town. MAINE Ibiza features 200-cover alfresco dining split across two levels, offering a locally inspired menu, magnificent mixology, and a thoughtfully crafted entertainment programme. MAINE Ibiza is ideally located by the picturesque salt flats of Salinas, a UNESCO world heritage site, en route to the famous Es Cubells and Platja des Cavallet, and moments from the legendary DC-10, making it the ideal spot for guests to dine through both the day and night.
Designed by The MAINE’s Founder, Joey Ghazal, the 18th century ‘white washed’ parish has been restored to feature vintage Spanish Colonial pieces sourced from mainland Spain, amongst a beautifully curated garden. There are nods to brutalist architecture with traditional ‘Marbella bar stools’, contrasted with charming architectural imperfections, giving it an authentic Ibizan feel. With a mezzanine-style rooftop overlooking the ground floor restaurant, every space has been carefully curated to entertain into the early hours. MAINE Ibiza is a place of naked beauty – simple, rustic, deeply familiar and yet wholly unexpected.
The property features a prominent bar area focused on elevated mixology, a generous bar bites menu and an impressive selection of premium tequilas and mezcals. The family-style menu at MAINE Ibiza boasts a selection of its most popular dishes, with an added Mediterranean flavour running throughout. Guests will enjoy a thoughtful entertainment programme, with different DJs from the island, as well as live performances. With Ibiza town just a short drive away, and DC-10 and Playa d’en Bossa in close proximity, the property’s prime location will lure guests looking for a spot to dine or drink before clubbing.
MAINE Ibiza is open throughout the day, offering a blackboard menu of vibrant, healthy bowls, vegetarian & vegan options, and Mediterranean market platters using all fresh and locally sourced produce. Referred to as Casa M, this casual daytime dining offering is an ideal spot to enjoy a healthy bite or a fresh-pressed juice before heading to one of the island’s most popular beaches.
