About Little Bird:
Little Bird Bistro, opened in 2010 in Portland, Oregon, is the sister restaurant of acclaimed Le Pigeon, and is a joint venture of two-time James Beard Award winning Chef Gabriel Rucker and Co-Owner and General Manager, Andrew Fortgang. In 2012, Little Bird Bistro was named Restaurant of the Year by The Oregonian and has since been praised by New York Times, Wine Spectator, and other local and national media. With regularly changing dishes, elegant desserts, and an extensive wine list and bar program, Little Bird Bistro is among downtown Portland’s most approachable yet innovative lunch, dinner, and late night dining options. Executive Chef Erik Van Kley, an expat of Le Pigeon and longstanding colleague of Rucker’s, implements the same creative culinary process by building an inventive yet comforting menu inspired by classic French bistro fare.
