Oregon wine country’s premier destination resort The Allison Inn & Spa is hosting a foodie + oenophile extravaganza, The Cuvée Weekend, on February 26-27. The weekend celebration entices wine and food lovers to indulge in delicious local tastings (more than 30 Oregon wineries and purveyors!) and intimate chardonnay wine paired dinners to coincide with the fifth annual Oregon Chardonnay Celebration at the resort. Events are as follows:
  • An exclusive tasting occasion, the Cuvée Stroll, takes place Friday, 5–7:30 pm. For a $25 donation to ¡Salud!, which provides healthcare access to Oregon’s seasonal vineyard workers and their families, guests will enjoy tasting the wines and bites of 15 wineries and 20 artisan food and beverage purveyors in an uncrowded and unhurried atmosphere.
  • Michael – Allison Inn & Spa hosts culinary + wine aficionado event, The Cuvée Weekend, Feb. 26-27On Friday and Saturday evenings, visitors are invited to partake in a four-course wine paired, prix fixe dinner at The Allison’s signature garden-to-table restaurant JORY featuring the region’s top wineries.
    • For each dinner, JORY Executive Chef Sunny Jin, 2015 James Beard Foundation semi-finalist for Best Chef Northwest, will collaborate with one of the region’s brightest culinary talents, including chef Vitaly Paley of Portland’s Paley’s Place and Imperial on Friday, and chef Holly Smith of Seattle’s Café Juanita on Saturday, to create a dinner designed to pair with Oregon Chardonnay.
    • The four-course dinners are $85 per person, with a $65 wine pairing available. Reservations for either Cuvée dinner may be made by contacting JORY directly at (503) 554-2526.
