Morada Bay has appointed a new Executive Chef, as reported by Food & Beverage Magazine.

Morada Bay is pleased to announce the promotion of Executive Sous Chef, Stuart Dove, to Executive Chef.  As Executive Chef, Dove will oversee all culinary operations at Morada Bay including Morada Beach Café and Pierre’s Restaurant. He will be in charge of menu development and execution, directing culinary activities, and overseeing the team of culinary staff.


Dove’s background spans almost two decades in the culinary industry. He spent the first ten years of his career as Executive Chef at various eateries in Spain, England, and Argentina before moving to the United States. There, he spent almost five years as the Executive Chef at Empanada Mama before settling in Islamorada as Executive Sous Chef with Cheeca Lodge & Spa.


“I am truly honored to be named Executive Chef at Morada Bay,” said Dove. “I am excited to put my mark on Morada Bay by leading a dedicated team of culinary professionals to deliver the finest dining experience possible for our guests.”


Morada Bay features two iconic Florida Keys restaurants – Morada Bay Beach Café and Pierre’s Restaurant. Morada Bay Keys Beach Café & Bar is an outdoor Mediterranean bistro café set in the sand, situated amidst a beautiful palm-lined beach overlooking blue waters with walking paths through tropical flowers. Guests will find inside and outside bars and dining areas, live unique entertainment, spectacular sunsets, and a large child-friendly beach with cozy Adirondack chairs. The menu is a blend of Caribbean and American cuisine showcasing the freshest in local seafood and produce.

Located next to Morada Bay Beach Café, Pierre’s Restaurant is a sparkling white two-story house facing the Florida Bay, set amidst a glorious, palm-lined beach with walking paths through tropical flowers. Guests can enjoy fine dining on the second floor or on the veranda, accompanied by Islamorada’s spectacular sunsets and tropical views.  The Green Flash Lounge on the first floor serves guests on the main floor and the downstairs’ veranda.
