Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup grated Romano cheese
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 loaf (1 pound) French bread, halved lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. In a small bowl, mix butter, cheese and garlic; brush over cut sides of bread.
  3. Place on a baking sheet, cut side up. Sprinkle with parsley.
  4. Bake 7-9 minutes or until light golden brown. Cut into slices; serve warm.

  • 5 cups frozen French-fried potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 to 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°.
  2. Place potatoes in a large bowl.
  3. Mix oil, garlic and salt; toss with potatoes.
  4. Arrange in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
  5. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown, stirring once.
  6. Sprinkle with cheese; toss lightly. Serve immediately.

  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • Juice of 1 medium lemon
  • 2 to 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid; shake well.
