THE CONCOURS CLUB APPOINTS AWARD-WINNING CHEF BRAD KILGORE TO INTRODUCE ALL NEW RESTAURANT ON-SITE

The Concours Club is proud to announce that the premier automotive driving facility will be opening an all-new restaurant featuring Food & Wine magazine’s Best New Chef award-winner, Brad Kilgore. Opening in 2020, The Concours Club continues to offer a remarkable array of world-class amenities for its members, surpassing expectations on every level. Chef Kilgore’s appointment as The Concours Club’s Culinary Director at North America’s most advanced private driving circuit sets a new, never before seen standard for dining at automotive country clubs. Kilgore’s new restaurant will only be available to The Concours Club members and their guests.

“I am blown away with this amazing project and couldn’t be more excited to be Culinary Director for The Concours Club,” comments Chef Brad Kilgore. “Designing culinary options that fully represent the excitement and action of The Concours Club, while seamlessly folding in the bold tastes of Miami is a unique experiment. After exploring a variety of flavors and menu options, I am looking forward to presenting what we have come up with for members.”

In addition to an exclusive new restaurant in the Club’s Members Lounge featuring a completely state of the art million-dollar kitchen, Kilgore will also provide The Concours Club members an unparalleled dining experience wherever they are within the facility, either at the member’s lounge or trackside. When developing the food and beverage program, The Concours Club committed to a multitude of dining options that offer light and fresh fare for pre-driving meals and also fine dining for those wishing to relax at the Club after a day of friendly competition. Members will be able to enjoy the bold flavors that have defined Kilgore’s epic career in between experiencing one of the most technologically-advanced courses ever designed.

First rising to fame in Chicago, Kilgore started his career at the acclaimed Alinea before leaving with Chef Laurent Gras to open L2o. Both restaurants quickly distinguished themselves with three Michelin stars. Kilgore continued his rise to prominence as Executive Sous Chef at EPIC in Chicago, where the establishment was honored as John Mariani’s best new restaurant of the year.

Quickly establishing himself as a rising star in the culinary scene, Kilgore made his move to Miami where he worked first at Azul in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, and then the St. Regis Bal Harbour as Executive Chef under Jean George Vongerichten at J&G Grill. Kilgore made history when the Miami Herald awarded the restaurant a never before seen 4-star review. Kilgore has become synonymous with Miami’s vibrant dining and nightlife scene ever since.

In 2015, Chef Kilgore opened Alter in the art focused Wynwood district of Miami, offering progressive American cuisine paired with the finest Floridian ingredients. Characteristic dining experiences there are characterized by lavish five, seven, and eight course tasting menus. Kilgore again made history by receiving another 4-star review for Alter from the Miami Herald. Kilgore’s Alter also earned restaurant of the year by Eater.

Kilgore continued his incredibly successful culinary career opening Kaido, a Japanese-inspired cocktail lounge located in Miami’s Design District, which also features AMA, a hidden bar that presents a truly remarkable amakase experience. The new Culinary Director for The Concours Club then introduced another hot new restaurant in Ember, a wood-fired American bistro focusing on delectable classic and modern fare, wood-fired dishes, smoke laden meats, and pastas.

Never content to rest on his achievements, Kilgore is a five-time nominee for the prestigious James Beard award in the category Best New Restaurant. He also was a nominee for the James Beard award in the category of Rising Star Chef of the Year.
