The Hotel Hershey Celebrates 5th Annual Wine & Food Festival Wine and Dine September 12 to 14Celebrating its fifth year, The Hotel Hershey Wine & Food Festival will be held across the grounds of the Hotel from September 12 to 14. Throughout the weekend, guests will experience unique events and treatments for all tastes, including a new beer tasting and home brewing seminar.

“The fifth annual Wine & Food Festival at The Hotel Hershey is expected to be the largest to date,” said John Daly, director of food and beverage for the Hotel. “We are excited to welcome guests back for a new home brewing event, as well as other top-notch events throughout the weekend.”

  • Kick off the weekend with a reception hosted by Cesare Benvenuto from Pio Cesare featuring wine selections and a themed dinner menu including international and domestic cheeses and pasta and carving stations. Then, enjoy a selection of Italian desserts and the lighter side of wine with “Something To Wine About,” a comedy show featuring Laurie Forster, The Stand Up Sommelier.
  • 7 – 10 p.m.; $96 per person, includes tax and gratuity

Saturday, September 13 – Vine to Wine at Waltz Vineyards Estate Winery

  • This unique experience begins with a personal tour of Waltz Vineyards Estate Winery in nearby LancasterCounty. The tour is followed by a walk-through of the winemaking process with owners Jan and Kimberly Waltz. The event culminates with a tasting of wines accompanied by local cheeses, crackers and chocolates. Transportation to and from The Hotel Hershey and boxed lunch are included. Outdoor dress and comfortable shoes are suggested
  • 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.; $54 per person, includes tax, gratuity and boxed lunch

  • New this year, learn all about the home brewing process and have the opportunity to taste beer with Yards Brewery Ultimate Home Brewer, Andrew Howard and Head Brewer, Tim Roberts.
  • 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.; $48 per person, includes tax and gratuity

Saturday, September 13 – Villa Maria Wine Dinner

  • Hosted by New Zealand winemaker Helen Morrison from Villa Maria Wines, the evening begins with a reception followed by a five-course dinner paired with four to five wines. Morrison will speak, and guests will have the opportunity to mingle with fellow wine enthusiasts.
  • 6 – 10 p.m.; $118 per person, includes tax and gratuity

Sunday, September 14 – VIP Winemaker Breakfast

  • This breakfast buffet and mimosa bar is hosted by Wine Festival winemakers Cesare Benvenuto, Amy Thorne, Jan Waltz and Helen Morrison, and Yards Brewery’s Ultimate Home Brewer, Andrew Howard and Head Brewer, Tim Roberts. Registration and wristband pick-up will be available during breakfast for guests who will enjoy the Grand Tasting in the afternoon.
  • 10 a.m. – noon; $30 per person, includes tax and gratuity

  • The Grand Tasting features more than 60 international and domestic wineries, a selection of local breweries, food samplings from Hershey Entertainment & Resorts’ award-winning chefs andrestaurants and live jazz entertainment. Guests are invited to stroll and enjoy the grounds of the Hotel’s Formal Gardens and Harvest Plaza.
  • Noon – 4 p.m.; $65 per person, includes tax and gratuity; $20 per designated driver, includes tax and gratuity

The Spa At The Hotel Hershey is also celebrating the return of the Wine & Food Festival with special treatments from September 1 through October 31. The “Red, Red Wine Package” features natural grape antioxidants to exfoliate and moisturize the skin. The package includes Soaking Tub and Body Scrub treatments; Manicure; Pedicure; Lunch in The Oasis, The Spa’s guest-only dining room, as well as a complimentary glass of red or white wine. The “Red, Red Wine Package” is available Mondays through Thursdays for $245* and Fridays through Sundays for $265*.

For those who prefer the ultimate nail service, guests can enjoy a “Vineyard Hands & Feet” treatment. Featuring wine scrubs and moisturizers, guests experience a Manicure, Pedicure and complimentary glass of red or white wine.
