Product of the Year is the world’s largest consumer-voted award for product innovation, where winners are determined by the votes of 40,000 consumers in a national representative survey conducted by research partner Kantar, a global leader in consumer research.
For 130 years, Del Monte has been bringing quality fruits and vegetables to families across the country. While its vegetable and fruit products remain the core of its foundation, Del Monte continues to innovate, identifying new ways to enjoy delicious, healthy meals and snacks. One of Del Monte’s latest innovations, Fruit & Oats combines steel cut and rolled oats with a full serving of fruit, providing a convenient meal that consumers can feel good about eating, whether to start their day or as a nutritious snack.
Receiving top honors in the Product of the Year Breakfast Category, Fruit & Oats comes in Apple Cinnamon, Peach Cinnamon Spice and Pear Maple flavors. All flavors contain 400mg of Omega-3 fatty acids per serving and are a good source of fiber. Due to overwhelmingly positive consumer response, two new flavors – Blueberry Apple and Strawberry Apple – will soon debut.
