Blox Ventures, LLC, a Silicon Valley-based investor and real estate operator, announced Real Produce International Market opens Thursday, December 17 at 8AM at 501 Oxford Avenue in Palo Alto’s College Terrace neighborhood. This store is the grocer’s second after their initial location in San Jose.

“We welcome Real Produce, a specialty grocer, to this 11,000-square-foot space at our center,” said Blox Ventures CEO Jason Oberman. “This begins a new day of desired fresh produce, meats, dry goods, and prepared meals to our corner of Palo Alto.”

Real Produce, offering both organic and conventional groceries, focuses on seasonal products. Ingredients are from European and Middle Eastern countries, and there will be a Greek deli.

“We are opening with a fully stocked store and will be expanding on this over the next few months, including a grab-and-go area, fresh flowers, and a coffee area,” said Khaled Taffi, Real Produce International owner and manager. “we look forward to meeting and serving our new neighbors.”

With both indoor and outdoor areas for shopping, customers will find a selection of meats, organic fruits and vegetables, and international products. There will be daily fresh-baked breads, hot- and cold-prepared meals, as well as fresh-roasted coffee.  The chefs and cook staff, formerly of Facebook, have serve delicious offerings ready.

Providing a market has been a pivotal amenity at The College Terrace First Republic Center at 2100 El Camino Real, a transit-oriented, mixed-use development project. The third of recent investments in Palo Alto that principals from Blox Ventures have acquired benefits from its proximity to the area’s key innovation centers, adjacency to Stanford University, Stanford Research Park, a vibrant retail node, and a half mile to Caltrain.

First Republic Bank remains the anchor office tenant at the mixed-use property, one of the few in Palo Alto’s core that occupy a full city block.
