RumChata Reaches Two Millionth Bottle Mark

Since January 1, 2012 one million bottles of RumChata have been shipped, surging to a grand total of 2 million for the young hot brand.

RumChata is bottled from a made-from scratch cream liqueur recipe that uses five times distilled Caribbean rum and real Wisconsin dairy cream with a touch of natural cinnamon, vanilla, sugar and other secret flavors.  It has quickly been discovered across the country by a wide range of consumers from 21 years of age to 65 plus.    Since its trial rollout in 2009, RumChata has earned The Beverage Information Group’s Rising Star Brand Growth Award in 2010 and 2011.

“After you taste RumChata you would not be surprised to hear about its rapid success,” says, Thomas Maas, Master Blender.  “We are extremely proud of RumChata’s level of demand particularly since it has been all word of mouth that has driven consumers to discover its incredible flavor.  In fact we have been told by many of our customers that it is the best tasting cream liqueur…ever.”

Through social media, consumers are sharing their unique stories and recipes after tasting RumChata on and off-premise.  RumChata’s versatility is being enjoyed straight, as a mixer, and as a food recipe ingredient.  Professional mixologists are calling it “The Bartender’s Best Friend.”

Drinks such as the Tiramasu Martini and Salted Caramel Martini are popular selections at white tablecloth restaurants while a wide variety of shooters are being ordered at bars.  At home, in addition to it being enjoyed as a cocktail, food lovers are discovering RumChata French Toast, RumChata Cheesecake, RumChata and Berries and RumChata Sweet Potato Casserole.

RumChata is available in 49 states at an average retail price of $19.95.  More about RumChata including food and drink recipes and where it is available can be found at www.rumchata.com and on the RumChata facebook page.
