Toast to Earth Day with Nature-Inspired Cocktails

It’s all about celebrating nature’s beauty on Earth Day, and what better way than with cocktails that feature Earth’s fresh ingredients of lime, mint and cucumber? As you reduce, reuse and recycle on April 22, toast to going green with these nature-inspired cocktails

Toast to Earth Day with Nature-Inspired CocktailsGo Minty Green
Ingredients:

  • 1 part Sauza Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
  • 2 ½ parts club soda
  • 1 part fresh lime juice
  • 1 bunch of fresh mint
  • 1 part sugar
  • Ice
  • Salt to rim (optional)
  • Extra mint leaves to garnish

Preparation:

  1. In a glass, muddle together the mint leaves, sugar and lime juice until they start to melt together.
  2. Add tequila. Fill glass with ice and pour cocktail mixture 3/4 of the way to the top of each glass.
  3. If you want, rim your glasses with salt by rubbing the rims with a lime wedge and dipping in a plate of salt.
  4. Fill each glass with club soda and garnish with an extra sprig of mint.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ parts Sauza Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
  • ½ part JDK & Sons O3 Premium Orange Liqueur
  • 1 medium cucumber, peeled and sliced
  • 1 ½ parts fresh lime juice
  • ½ part simple syrup

Preparation:

  1. In a glass, muddle together sliced cucumber and Sauza Blue Silver Tequila.
  2. Let sit in the refrigerator for one hour. Strain the cucumber tequila and combine with all ingredients in a pitcher.
  3. Stir and serve over ice. Garnish with reserved cucumber slices and a wedge of lime.
