Popular doughnut concept under construction at CityLine; September opening projected

DALLAS (Sept. 1, 2015) – Dallas’ favorite new guilty pleasure is headed to the burbs.

Top Pot Doughnuts, Dallas’ first Doughnut and Coffee café, has just broken ground at CityLine, the massive mixed-use project in Richardson. Its newest location will be on the ground floor of Three CityLine, the development’s flagship building, near the intersection of E. Renner and N. Plano Roads.

It is scheduled to open later this month.

“We’ve only been in DFW for about 16 months, but we already feel like we’ve been embraced by the community here,” said Alex Sharma, Chairman of Top Pot Doughnuts. “We think the CityLine project is the perfect next step for our local expansion as we take our high quality, hand-forged doughnuts to a whole new group of customers beyond Dallas proper.”

When it opens, the 1,300-square-foot café will be the 3rd Top Pot in North Texas and the 22nd overall. The company has 19 stores in its hometown of Seattle.

Top Pot’s first location outside Seattle opened in May 2014 at the corner of Hillcrest Road and Northwest Highway in Dallas, and the second on Greenville Avenue in May 2015. Top Pot will have four stores in the DFW area by year’s end.
