Italian Trade Agency Showcases Italian Food and 67 Italian food and beverage companies at FMI Connect 2016 at McCormick Place in Chicago

Italian Trade Agency Showcases Italian Food and Beverage Companies at FMI Connect 2016The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in collaboration with its partners, the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, Federalimentare CIBUS, TuttoFood and Vinitaly, will organize the Italian Pavilion during FMI Connect 2016 at McCormick Place in Chicago. The Italian Pavilion will showcase 67 Italian food and beverage companies allowing attendees to experience a variety of authentic Italian products.

ITA has partnered with Vinitaly, Carpigiani, Rancillio, and world-famous MasterChef Mario Rizzotti to bring authentic Italian flavors to the ITA’s Piazza Italia, located in FMI Connect booth 3603. The Piazza Italia will allow visitors the opportunity to sample artisan gelato, coffee, food and wine within an authentic Italian atmosphere. ITA’s Piazza Italia provides buyers and retailers the opportunity to engage with a large number of highly qualified Italian suppliers and discover the products that best fit the interests of consumers.

In addition to giving visitors the opportunity to experience a piece of Italian culture inside ITA’s Piazza Italia, one lucky guest will receive a trip to Italy! FMI Connect attendees can register at booth 4005 to receive an RFID bracelet. Each bracelet can be scanned at the Italian company booths inside ITA’S Piazza Italia along with scheduled meeting in the CBX Lounge to  accumulate points redeemable for exciting prizes. All entrants are entered to win the grand prize: a trip to Italy for two.
