Pavy Keomaniboth has been named area executive chef at Hyatt Centric Beale Steet Memphis and Caption by Hyatt Beale Street Memphis. In his new role, Chef Keomaniboth oversees the culinary day-to-day operations, banquets and catering, and overarching food and beverage programs for both hotels.

With over 30 years of experience in the culinary field and 15 years with the Hyatt Brand, Chef Keomaniboth brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new position. Born into a family that had a passion and love affair with the culinary world, he grew up in Hawaii and eventually moved to Portland, Oregon, where he received formal training at the Western Culinary Institute. He then served as chef de cuisine at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resorts and Spa and continued to sharpen his skillset at other Hyatt properties across the country, including Hyatt Regency Green Bay, Wisconsin, Hyatt Regency Columbus, Ohio and Hyatt Regency Bellevue, Washington. Most recently, Keomaniboth served as the regional executive chef at Isla Bella Beach Resort in Florida where he helmed Mahina, an innovative Pacific Rim fine-dining restaurant, where he pulled inspiration from the region’s influences along with his diverse culinary background to curate unique dishes.

“I’m excited to rejoin the esteemed Hyatt Brand and am thrilled to reconnect with colleagues,” said Keomaniboth. “I’m fortunate to have worked with culinary programs and regional ingredients at locations across the country and I’m eager to take that knowledge and infuse it into these hotels and begin my culinary chapter in the South.”

As area executive chef, Keomaniboth leads Caption’s signature Talk Shop experience with an all-day lounge eatery and cocktail bar, grab-and-go offerings, and outdoor beer garden. Here, he plans to strengthen the hotel’s community engagement while supporting local restaurateurs and businesses, which is a core theme for the hotel’s signature lifestyle brand. He also leads the dining program at Hyatt Centric’s signature rooftop bar, Beck & Call, and will also develop new culinary experiences in the year ahead for both locals and travelers to savor and enjoy.

“Keomaniboth is a master at his craft, and we’re confident he will enhance our culinary programs with his signature touch to create an overall positive impact for the hotels,” said Michelle Geiger, area general manager at Hyatt Centric Beale Street Memphis and Caption by Hyatt Beale Street Memphis.
